    Comment About Akaka Bill:

QUESTION: “Can the Ammendment Team amend the Akaka Bill from how it is written from Hawaiian archipelago-small “a” to “Hawaiian Archipelago” with a capital “A”; because Hawaiian Archipelago with capital “A” denotes an Indepedant Legal Nation State capable of creating its own treaties, having Rights of Innocent Passage, the Hawaiian Flag at the top of the Flag Pole with International recognition and claims….all based on the Archipelago written with a capital “A”??????” (for reference of this information see letter sent from the White House concerning OCena Mining and EIS for (can provide) and also ask any International Law Prof. @ UH Manoa) thank you so much!!!!

Shelley Maka’ala Nakoa is my adopted daughter and she submitting this comment for me via phone call conversation. You may call me to verify. Phone number 325-7134 We have talked about this many times.

QUESTION: “OHA and Senator Akaka did not come to us and ask us what WE want. We want to know when we are going to have a meeting or consultaion on Moku o Keawe about all these assets (-the lands) to be transfered to the Governing Entity as you call it, because there is no legal definition of “Ceded Lands” that are comingled with the lands of the chiefs, Kuleana Lands held in Trust by the State of Hawai’i DLNR that they lease out, and the private properties of Queen Lili’uokalani and other Probated Lands that belong to the Hawai’i Pono I, when in the Akaka Bill it mentions that the State of Hawai’i has soveriegn Immunity and “NO ACCOUNTING”; please explain about the accounting of the comingled “assets” that belong to my people that were stolen and what will be done about those lands to return them?????”

The last meeting we had on the Big Island of Hawaii was at the ILWU with the Danner Sisters and OHA. The paperwork handed out stated that under sections dealing with consultation, the military is excempt from consultation. We are having problems with Depleted Uranium and my friends tell me that the DoD canceled the consultations about the Stryker and have vioalted their lease agreements at Pohkuloa. HOW IS THE MILITARY, AS WRITTEN IN THE AKAKA BILL AGREEMENT, GOING TO HANDLE CONSULTATION UNDER SECTION 106 AND HOW WILL ENFORCEMENT OF THE CONSULTATION BE HANDLED ESPECIALLY IF THE HAWAIIANS DO NOT WANT THE DEPLETED URANIUM STORED AT POHAKULOA OR AT SCHOFFIELD BARRACKS????”

Question: “The Akaka Bill states that there is to be a governing entity. What about the Rosters of Legislation and Privy Council Article 94 & Article 43 that deal with the ‘Vacancy of the Throne’ which states that the heir to the throne needs to be a descendant of Kamehameha I (a Mokuauhau)….and the office of the ‘Kuhina Nui’; don’t the Hawaiians have the right under Belligerent Occupance to enjoy what they had before at the time of the overthrow according to international law and a government of their own choosing as written in the Apology Bill?????”

  • Albert Ha'a

    Aloha Ohana,
This message is submitted through a friend….my question is
“How will the Akaka Bill deal with the lands that everyone legally agrees that Kamehameha III was the last to own the lands that he conveyed to the 244 chiefs that they still have title to-and that the Treaty of Cession was illegal; so what lands are to be transfered to this ‘governing entity’ when the title resides with the Ohana and it is allodial title that is covered by the Probate of Naukana to which there IS a Representative (verified descendant of Kamehameha III) but there is no mention of land inventory or definition of lands in the Akaka Bill???”

  • Mele Punahele

“In the Akaka Bill, the Danner Sisters gave out a written summary of the Akaka Bill (as it was written before) in reference to Department of Defense Consutation and that they are excempt from consultation;how does the Akaka Bill deal with Section 106 or other forms of consultation directly with Hawaiians and MOA concerning military leases??????”

Since the switch over to digital, most of us do not have any TV!!!! No KITV-no news. We have a radio. No internet…..so we cannot have access to the OHA live about the AKAKA Bill. I am also using a friend’s computer.

My question is like this: “We really need to have Public Hearings about the Akaka Bill. I heard they canceled them, they never talk to us, the people who could sit on the throne, maybe they scared. They said they like work it out somehow, but what about the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation because we used to have treaties with the United States, my friend she talked to some of the Daughters of the American Revolution and they agree to set the Hawaiians Free….if it was minister stevens and the conspiracy big 5 that overthrew the government and not the american people…then does the Treaty still stand under the Akaka Bill; can we invoke the Treaty of Friendship , COmmerce, and Navigation under the Akaka Bill?””

  • Makaulike

Amala…. you are luckier than you know!

What a load of shishi. Notice how they couldn’t even
say the word ‘independence’ let along talk about it?

  • kealii8

Makaulike hit it right on the money!

They couldn’t even get the definition of Sovereignty right let alone talk about how its used.

  • OHA and its hired panel of state and federal dogs tried to make their case on the akaka BS in a special that asked for questions either by e-mail or phone calls.

Did anyone here asked a question, what was the question, is your question ignored or answered, if so what answer did they provide, and did they put your question and answer on their website like they said they would.

    My question was never answered;

“Why should Hawaii consider USA recognition which would marginalize, injure and reduce Hawaii’s loyal subjects as a people in possession of an independent, peaceful and honorable national profile to a tribal member under a criminal and dishonorable country. why not allow the rule of law to provide a remedy and why should we not seek the course justice so requires?

I am a subject of the Hawaiian Kingdom and these domestic laws of the USA are just that, USA’s exercise of extra-territorial jurisdiction in Hawaii is a violation of international laws. These actors know they have no authority. Gotta sue one of these actors in their individual capacity, keep an eye on the news.

They will never convince me that they are here in Hawaii with consent, they continue to force themselves upon me, I can not in good conscience teach my keiki that this is the USA or the so-called 50th STATE this is our country the Kingdom of Hawaii, beat it.

  • My whole family and I watched these actors poorly act. Bruce is pathetic! Lilikala, Mike and Robin were weak and did come off NOT KNOWING their history, laws or promotion of our culture and traditions. They did do or tried to push the Akaka bill as,”THE ONLY” alternative is like the questions on statehood…still steering us into the trappings of the American system who wants what we have and we said NO! It’s like a woman saying no to her attacker, raper and murderer AND he keeps raping me.
It was our assessment from the first purported hearing on the bill 10 years ago, that in the end it wouldn’t pass and it has come to be. Aloha Keakua. Long live the Hawaiian Kingdom. Restore our government according to the Liliuokalani Assignment and stop wasting our money by telling lies and trying to push something like the Akaka bill because we never agreed to it in our contracts.

    Kawehi
