Steve Morse, program coordinator for the GI Rights Hotline, will explore:
  • conscientious objection, including:
    • what is it & what you can do
    • draft registration & preparing for a draft
    • supporting youth and active-duty soldiers’ right to conscientious objection
  • militarizing a generation, including:
    • practical info and resources to support youth empowerment
    • how the military aggressively targets youth
    • myths & realities of military enlistment
    • “No Child Left Behind” & opting-out
    • alternatives to military servitude

A workshop ideal for students, parents, counselors, clergy, teachers or any community members concerned with, or working with youth.

Come have your questions and concerns addressed, and get resources to support our youth and service members!
