Father seeks removal of son from Kamehameha

In a twist on the issue of Kamehameha Schools being forced by the court to admit a non-Hawaiian student, the Star-Bulletin reports that the father of the student is seeking custody of his son and his removal from Kamehameha Schools, alleging that the boy is a scapegoat in the fight against the schools' admission policy. The Advertiser has a similar story.

The Star-Bulletin published a letter to the editor that says the Hawaii overthrow was worse than Sept. 11.

And the Advertiser reports on the Polynesian voyaging canoe Hokule'a's visit to the island of Nihoa.
