Faleomavaega defends Akaka
In covering
the King Kamehameha Day celebration at the Capitol yesterday, the
Advertiser
focuses on Congressional Delegate from American Samoa Eni Faleomavaega's defense
of Sen. Akaka, saying that debate over the Akaka bill is good, but that it has
become too much of a personal attack on the senator, who Faleomavaega says is
just trying to help the Hawaiian people, and is "unjustly condemned, yet his
heart is so pure."
