Keiki in the lo'i
Yesterday we had a group of about twenty Hana
kids up at the farm, plus some
folks from a Kihei canoe club who were on this side scouting for a koa tree to
make into a wa'a and came by for a
visit.Before planting, all the weeds
are buried under the mud to decompose and become food for the next huli. Even
the 'ilio is in on the action.
Carrying
freshly harvested kalo to be
cleaned.
