UPDATE: With about 400 votes in after one day, the poll is running over 80% against the Akaka bill. Totally unscientific, but even if they aren't accurate in terms of the sentiment of the overall population, online polls do tend to measure the intensity of feeling about an issue - those who feel strongly enough to take the time to participate, and organize others to do so, will skew the poll in their direction. So it seems so far that those who are against the Akaka bill are really against it, and those who are for it aren't mustering much passion in support of it.
UPDATE 2 (3/16, 9am): Now with 1500 votes, in the fourth day of the poll, it is still running more than 3 to 1 against (76% to 24%). The poll has been readjusted a couple times as someone was trying to vote repeatedly for the Yes option, driving up the numbers artificially, and then the duplicates would be removed by the poll keepers.
