  • Where on the U.H. campus for Dr. Sai’s talk. Bldg. Rm number etc ? Mahalo

  • I just know what was in this email…. not sure but if I find out I’ll post it.

  • I attended Keanu’s talk and refreshed my knowledge, understood some distinctions I hadn’t grasped before. I feel very good about his position regarding the transition from occupied to restored state which he explained today. I had already read about it in his dissertation. Today’s talk made it more transparent.

Also learned how the completion of Liliuokalani’s agreement with Cleveland is paving the way to leverage the challenges made to U.S. Federal or State law today in particular cases.

The talk was video taped by a dept. of the university. Maybe Kale Gumapac could get it to you if it turns out to be of good video quality.

I think we need more people that are educated in the mythology of Hawaii and it’s wrongful control from the United States to be taught to the part and full Hawaiians in Hawaii. Keanu, keep up the good work cause we need to be further educated on what the U.S. did to our Queen and to our Nation.

It is always good to be enlightened with education that is correct but, as we all know, many that write and document the history do such with a bias or completely inaccurately. In such cases, …”something is NOT better than nothing!” Yes, it is important to know and understand the past, present, and future of what has transpired and it is a monumental effort. So, if one is to chose to learn all that exist and progress forward, it is best and much more beneficial to move forward with the present as one reviews the actions of the past. For support of momentum forward is more critical than to continually wallow in the past as many have already done. But, if one is of the ability and is afforded the luxury of time and other essential resources, then a comprehensive research may be a feasible path to take but is most often afforded to the more youthful of the times. Over a century of life is not to be digested in one’s life time very fluidly. If only we all had such a luxury of time and comparable resources. Focus on the problem at hand first, remove the Hawaiian ship of antiquity of the reefs of which it has been grounded to for so long. It is not to worry how it got there, where it came from, or where it will go. The focus at hand is to get it off the reef and afloat once more; then is the appropriate time to determine its destiny. Do not allow the Hawaiian condition to remain moored helplessly on the reef to deteriorate further while you choose to contemplate past and future history. The time for concentrated efforts is “now” so that a stop to history of lies ends here and not some future date. Imua (Sincerely…CKJ)
